Tillandsia or Air Plants are a known to make homes on anywhere the conditions permit. The common Air Plants are named because of the fact that they are soil free and can grow in just that, air. They are commonly found on tree branches or bark as they naturally grow on other plants. These plants are wonderfully low maintenance as all they only need to be watered about once a week, sometimes only once every 2 weeks. To soak you submerge the plant for 30 minutes, place them upside down to try. You can also mist them every few days to keep them looking fresh. Make sure to mist them if your home has lower humidity.
