Red Cored Chantenay - Rich colour and sweet, crunchy, thick flesh makes this an ideal home grown carrot. About 14 cm (5 1/2") long when mature. Performs well in heavy soils.
Tenderlong Imperator - Extremely long variety, 25 cm (10") on average! Orange red in colour with dark green tops. Rich in vitamin A and when eaten raw, dietary fiber. Rich loose soil is best. Onion, leek and herbs such as rosemary and sage act as a repellent to the carrot fly.
Red Cored Danvers - Excellent quality, tender carrot which is a favorite for processing. Half long and pointed, crisp and sweet.
